Weird wormlike thing in my 5 gallon

One of my guppies had died for no apparent reason so I went to take her out and while I was trying to get my net in the fish tank this about 1/2 inch worm like thing was swimming around.
Should I be worried because it surely freaked me out?

Well I was looking for it now but cant find it. I can draw a little picture to kind of show you how it looked

What color? Could have been a detritus work, if so, no worries.
Was the guppy showing any sign of infection before death, or just the typical poor guppy genes? If yes then you may have a parasite on your hands (maybe related to the Oscar).

Looks like a detritus worm to me.Was it white in colour?

Its that little worm that climbed up the water line and I just found another one

I've got to hand it to you guys, you've certainly got some identification skills going on. Half the time I can't even tell with a real pic and you've nailed it on what looks like a spiders leg!
