To make a long story short.. there is always something amiss with my one tank =/ .. I recently added some new driftwood to my tank.. and it was also treated with Prazipro. Yet I am seeing millions of a clear worm type creature in the tank. both free swimming and clinging to the glass. They move like an earthworm does slinking along the glass.. not like an inchworm. and also float around. the tank is hazy now it's gotten so bad. my water perameters are fine, but i'm not sure if it's the water discolored from them or possibly an algae bloom as well. the tank has low light, and rarely is it turned on. My Oscar and fire eels do not look the worse for wear or seem to mind them. BUt it looks horrible. I've been doing 25% wc's the past few days to try and help control the population of these lil' buggers. Anyone know what they are? I'm thinking maybe some type of neamatoad that snuck in w/ the driftwood? atm they don't seem ot be harmful at all. and they don't attach to the fish or show signs of being "parasitic" BUt I've never seen anythign like these before. the biggest ones I've seen are about 1/4 long and see-through, kinda remind me of SW bristle worms. I'de toss some live bearers into the tank if my O wouldn't devour them as soon as they hit the water to try and control the population. and now that they are in my system I'm not sure how to control them let alone eddadicat them.. I know the WC's won't make a difference but I'm afraid of a die off and a Nitrate extravaganza.. which would liekly kill off my eels, and cause my O who's had HLLE/HITH issues that where finally clearing up
... Any thoughts? suggestions? Prazipro didn't seem to touch them. And I don't want to use any harsh chems if I can avoid it. If it's not one thing with this tank.. It's another
