Weirdest, but good tasting things you've eaten?

I ate a bunch of wood grubs I cooked over a fire i built by my shelter on a boyscout trip. Needless to say my gf wasn't too thrilled.. It tasted like bacon on the outside, and peanut butter on the inside... It was delicious.

I admit, cow tongue was good. I ate it not knowing what it was. disgusted, couldn't finish after I found out what it was.
