So far they don't mind each other, but they are just babies. The GT is AWESOME.. shows no fear. The RT is cool too, but it hides behind stuff all the time. We shall see how long they can co-exist. The GT is a most beautiful cichlid for such an inexpensive price... $6. I guess I got to thinking if it wasn't expensive, it wasn't cool...I'm dumb.

That's not a red terror, but an Urophthalmus. An awesome fish in its own right.

They should be able to co-exist for a while but when the Uro matures, he'll hand your GT his as$. :nutkick: GT's are awesome fish but have more balls

than brawn.

Lying Petsmart bastards! It said Festae on the label! Oh well.....I like the Green Terror better anyway. I'll feed this uro-thing to my red devil. Place your bets... adult RD vs. baby Uro. I give it 30 seconds.

Uros can still be very nice looking fish. I wouldn't waste it right now. I doubt Petsmart even knows the difference. Now you know why mom and pop fish stores are able to stay in business.

Adult Uro's are as good as if not better than Red Devils. You're not giving that fish enough credit. It's going to be a real bad ass in time. (Just one guys 2 cents)

Dude! Petsmart's mistake is your gain! Everybody and their mom has a Festae (my mom has 3!) The Uro is a little less common. Enjoy it! On the other hand I just found a 6" GT in my LFS. Picked him up for a 20 spot. He's got beautiful markings. If my damn camera was working I'd post a pic. Have fun with those fish!

haha i think you might have gotten it a bit mixed up there :) but yeah mayans are cool

Ok, I'll spare his life for now... He is a mean little bugger now that he found a spot he likes under the log... defends it, even against the big fat polypterus.
I'm really a fan of the Green Terror. He is very social, wants to see you when you get close. Not camera shy at all. I'm very happy with this fish. Beefheart and bloodworms all around!
