Well after 30 years in the fish keeping hobby ive decided to quit

First of all - why throw away your beloved fish / pets / hobby / passions, just because you didn't get something you wanted in life, on one website or another. You must not love your fish very much.

Secondly, but in first place - Li, I am very sorry to hear this - very glad they put the scum away - my thoughts go out to you.

It was reported and discussed and we decided to leave it open. This is the kind of things we deal with behind the scenes on a regular basis. If JIM wants to air the laundry on the open forum, its only fair we be able to respond in the same venue. If Li is good with it than who are we to step in and delete.

The only person in this thread who behaved like a child was JIM. He showed his ass on the forum and got called out on it. That's not mean or bullying, that's real life. Real life doesn't coddle people who act in this way. He's getting exactly what he deserved. He's getting exactly what he asked for.

He has no one to blame but himself.

Anyhow I'm glad you mods left this up ... he did ask for it. I read both sets of conversations, and to be honest ... Jim you see seem like a Power Hungry Looney Tune. Your tone and mood in the conversations take such dramatic swings. No one needs to be a mod to help someone in this hobby. The love for the hobby should be enough motivation in itself. So as my Grandma used to say ... "Stop crying over spilled milk"

I stand behind my posts in this thread and do not feel the need to "grow up". I simply explained why the thread was left up and why he was not chosen, which i could have easily not responded to. Frankly he bashed us hard as staff and had some very rude things to say that we should not have to deal with when we did exactly what he asked, put it to vote..

We should protect him from people bashing a downright irrational response/thread? Tell "the dictator to kiss his ass"?!? We have a process for identifying staff and if he can't respect that then throw a fit and we should look like the bad guys for protecting him by deleting the thread? Not going to happen... I will not coddle a grown ass man..

we are not bashing.. we just make sure people aware of his actions.. this person has harass multiple forums and owners.. this person has multiple facebook account and has harass me the same old thing back in 2011. i do think its time to expose him. a public service.
