Looks like the Armatus might appreciate a more open tank? How big is the Armatus and how big is the tank?

I have said that channa thanx for havin my back. It's very sad that it seems more and more alot of MFKers seem so prone to only leave comments now to find fault with someone else. Never just a compliment anymore, oh well. The armatus is 6 inches in a 75 gallon with 2, 5 inch red hooks 1, 3 inch black barred and a 3 inch spotted. Waiting on my tax return so I may buy a 300 that will be my gift to myself and his permanent home. Thanx to those that left positive feedback.
 
The fish looks nice. I think DB more than anything was just saying maybe take a little of that decor out. That would give him more room. There so fast and strong. Just dont want him to bang him self. Either way gl with the fish. And the 300 sounds nice.

Bingo. I only said this cause look at it's snout. They tend to freak if they feel clostrophobic, all that decor may cause this. Not leaving negative comments to be an arse but rather to try and help you be one of the very few out there to get an Armatus raised to a good size......

You have a good selection of tankmates.
 
I love the barred Metynnis. So hard to come by for most of us.
