I should say upfront I am not a fish keeper (don't judge me!). However I feel at home on this site because like many of you I keep things that require LARGE tanks. I keep reptiles. Not just any reptiles either. I do NOT have boring corn snakes or small pythons. No. My collection currently numbers at 18 (It used to be much higher but I cut back) and includes the American Crocodile (3 of them) (Crocodylus acutus), the Spectacled Caiman (2 of them) (Caiman crocodilus), the South American snapping turtle (just 1) (Chelydra acutirostris), and an assortment of venomous snakes. I have been a reptile enthusiast most of my life. I will confess my experience with fish stops at keeping a small 10 gallon to temporarily house some of my feeders. However, I am hoping through this site to leverage my knowledge of large semi aquatic enclosures into the ability to actually keep something more advanced then a goldfish alive! So I am useless when it comes to fish but if you need advice on reptiles or their enclosures then I'm your guy.
