i have 300gal tank built up w/real rock outcrops(cemented in) and caves for smaller fishes-the whole back wall is rocked out
i got a larger 3"gt 3 weeks ago along w/ another which i couldnt sex...2x gt/// (3" 1x 2" 1x) and 2 giant danios(they only had 2:/ )---i know they may become part of the menu but now the dart around cleaning and distracting the terrors
last week i placed
3 more med 2" gt///...3xgt (2"3x)
1 3"male red terror and 1 2"female rt///...2rt (3"1x 2" 1x)---cross my fingers
2 1.5" tiger oscars 1 reg and 1 albino///...2to
1 3" pleco
so far the 3"gt is the alpha male and takes no flak
he seems to break up most quarrels once he is no longer amused
he dosent mind the reg tiger oscar 2 much but doesn't seem to like the albino 1 too much
he'll only give chase for a sec though...there r gold colored guppies in there that i used to help cycle the water and he may get a bit confused
almost all the guppies have vanished cept a few fatties...3 weeks ago i had 100 or so in there, and they were out breeding my guppy breeding tank which is a 90 planted bi-opt tank
i've kept oscars b4 and several other larger fish breeds...but this will b the first time i keep them all in 1 tank(20 yrs in the hobby) sad huh?
the reg TO is pretty brash and could care less about the terrors and is barely pestered by them. he got into a squable w the albinio TO 3days in and now the ato(albino tiger oscar) stays on the perimeter of the tank until feeding time which is 3-4 times a day...flakes/ pellets/ spiro disk /and a piece of lettuce 2x a week...along w guppies still hiding in the tank
worst case senerio i have 2 remove the 2 red terrors, which i am setting up a 200 gall tank--- this spring
i would hate 2 move them though... the 300 gal is set up in my bedroom, which my wife and i love due to the fact we can watch fish tv
wish me luck i hope these guys since they grow up together and r feed readily there wont b any major issues

but she pops up every feeding till the other tiger o grows weary of her...no sign of the pleco unfortunately
