My wife and I had a baby 8 months ago and the fish were being neglected so I sold my 100 gallon marine and my 150 gallon fresh.

Well I just found a sweet deal on CL I just could not pass up so I picked up another 100 gallon tank last night and I'm back into the game...... and back into higher electric costs :nilly:.

Picked up the 100 gallon tank... oak stand... 3 magnum canister filters... 2 heaters... 5 powerheads... and a bunch of other extra crap for $100.

Not bad I'd say.

Anyway... its good to have a tank again.

Awesome, welcome back to the hobby :)
So what are you gonna put in it? will it be SW or FW?

Thanks....

I'm not fully sure what is going in yet.

I know it is going to be fresh. After experiencing both I prefer fresh water, although Someday I would like another marine tank again. Not before I go real monster on the fresh side though.

what do you guys think is a good monster fish that would work good in a 100G?

With you saved on the tank you can pay a years electric bill...besides the new has probably worn off the baby anyway right?! :j/k:

Great find!:headbang2

LOL... Oh yeah she is so old news now.... JK....... She'll love the fish now for sure.

It was wierd to have electric bills so low for 8 months. :)

My little boy just turned one today. He loves to sit in front of the tank for hours at a time. Tell the wife the tank is for the baby--YOU only want to make her (the baby) happy!

thats a great deal on that tank.. cant wait to see pics of it stocked!
