I had to euthamnize my Botia dario. He started doing the death spiral, so I put him out of his misery. I wanted so badly to grow him to adult size... they are such stunners as adults. Just FYI, euthanizing fish sucks. The only other time I had done it was with feeders for my Snake... never for one of my fish
In addition, he had a little bit of ich... not so much that it would have cause the spiraling, but enough to make me worry about my Yoyos and my Plecos, including my 4" Flash Pleco. I bumped the temp up to 84.
