Well SOB another hickup. Fx6 acrilic install help

Sooooo I don't have a lip for this fx6 trim clip to clip to I have a drilled holes that the clip won't work with.... Solutions?

Is the clip required if it's already held by the driled hole, and if not any ideas on securing the outflow ?

The clip is more for a glass aquarium. As long as you secure the hoses from falling, you're fine.

Just use the suction cups on the bottom of the intake and on the return to secure it to the vertical panel.

Another option is to use a bulkhead and hard plumb pvc to the fx6. In the show us what under your stand thread there’s some pictures of some real clean installs.
