hi to everyone
right well ive been using this site now for yonks as a member but just never got round to saying hello.
my names chris and im 23 and live in essex in the uk
been into the fishy kind of fun for about a year and a half now and have learned a hell of a lot and i absolutely love it, but still have lots to learn i guess, thats why i use this site i suppose.
started with the usual small stuff but got bored really quickly of the guppys and gouramis in this world and soon realised my passion for new world cichlids catfish, eels and oddballs.
upsized my tank 3 times already, currently running a 100 gallon six footer with a wicked unit i made myself as i am a carpenter by profession which we, i say we but really my girlfriend upholstered in leather which looks absolutely awsome and is my pride and joy. but unfortunately will need to be replaced again soon to house my mini monsters as they grow lol.
well thats about it i suppose if you are in the same kinda boat as me or have the same kind of interests or jus wanna say hi that would be much appreciated as i would love to get to know some of you guys to learn and share experiences etc, lol how sad did that just sound

blackbelt 10 inch (absolutely beutiful best i have personally ever seen)
green phantom plec
3 parrots
baby peacock bass
silver aro (which i saved from an absolutely horribly run aquarium)
yellow pike
2 x tyretrack eel
1 fire eel 12 inch
2 x swamp eel , one green one golden (aka tulip eels)
1 rubber eel
1 giant borneo python eel
jurapari earth mover
rtcxtsn (yes i know hes gonna get way too big, hence the monster tank plans, before you all blast me lol)
and mr mcabee my asian soft shell turtle
oh and my fist ever fish i purchased a golden sucking loach lol
think thats about it dont think iv forgotten anyone he he
