That video was quite a relief. Definitely not in the clear yet, but the red welts seem to be fading, and the fact that he cruises around at a relaxed pace is good. I hope Mr. Wels pulls through, he's practically a local celebrity on the forums.

Did he show any interest in food? I couldn't see him in the feeding frenzy, but him having an appetite would be another good sign.

Thank you. No appetite. He barely feeds in the warmest time of year even when totally fine.

Silurus meridionalis is slightly affected.

I marked post #204 with a "like", and then wondered if that were really an appropriate reaction. But, in thinking about it, it is a weird kind of good news to hear that the meridionalis and a few other fish are also being affected by the meds. Not good news for those fish, of course, but it sort of reinforces and confirms that the meds are the cause of this mess. If it continued to be just Mr. Wels who was affected, I'd be harbouring a suspicion that something else might be going on and that blaming the meds was convenient and likely correct...but the nagging doubt would still be there.

Still not out of the woods, but things are definitely looking up. :)
