Wels catfish

Iv put a 13" wels in my pond about 6 months ago im not sure on the size of the pond but it is about 13',7',4' how big should it be he has been feeding on small fish and a sinking pellets.

It's kind of hard to estimate it's growth rate without about bunch of the unknown variables, like water temp, water conditions and how much the fish is eating.

Hmmm ok mate will have to try and catch it and post pics anyone else own a wels.

Where did you pick a Wels up from, I haven't seen these for sale. I've been looking for something a bit different for the pond like a Channel or Wels cat - do you know of any other similar cats what I can look out for that will live in our climate???

I've been after a wels for about a year! Where'd you get yours? Theres a shop near here that I've been told has a channel cat for sale....off to check it out!

I was good with reading that study... till the last page
