went fishin last night

went to my fav fishin spot. didnt get the big one but oh well.
used my 12' surf rod with a spinning reel (daiwa DF-100a) loaded with 500 yrds of 20# mono.

heres my grandpa with his 3lb channel! first cat in a long time, im guessing 25 yrs.

and heres my fish, two 3lb channels in my right hand and the other is a 3lb 4 ounce blue. the blue had extreamly thick meat on it!

Nice looking fish. I went last week, but it started storming and we got off the water. Hope to get back this week.. go after those 25lb-ers!
