Went Grabbing!! :D

Well, sorta! LoL! The Mississippi river is FLOODING hardcore, so a lot of the fish from the river are coming inland. I'm working on a house close to the river for the next two weeks, so I'm close to all this awesomeness. Anywho, there is a place where the water crossess the road, and its REALLY shallow. Yesterday I spent the better part of two hours (after work...haha) catching and moving Buffalo, and Carp across the road to the deeper waters. All in all I caught over 20 fish, all of which were over 2' long.

Well today, there were GAR crossing the road... They are a little harder to catch! LoL! Anywho, caught this brute, kept him for a few hours to take pictures, then let him go in the deeper water. Going back tomorrow, and the day after that, and then the day after that. I'm seriously having a blast! Anywho, enjoy!

Let him go, lol. There were all types of gars around, but shortnose were the most common. This was the SMALLEST one I could catch...lol....
