and found nothing but this nest of eggs (think red ear sliders but not sure...) there were no trees around for it to be a bunch of birds eggs to fall from...and some piggies (boar)...they were young and cute..also i saw lots or RD's in the lake but no way of catching them so heres some pics from my phone...

Ahwell, more reason to get up and go back out again tomorrow i suppose I hope its a nice day tomorrow, i might have a scout around. The eggs are a nice find. Went out newt hunting tonight, unfortunately no pictures though, even though found all 3 species native to here

yea im hoping to find a nest with unhatched eggs and take a few incubate them see what they are and then release them or give them to some one who can take care of them...if im not capable...so ill keep you posted cause the spot is perfect for aquatic turtles to lay clutches of eggs...
