Hello,

So I went and netted a bucket of tadpoles, fish, and bugs. I got these tiny fish that look like guppies. My guess is they are some type of Killifish or minnow. These were caught in Southern California BTW. Also I have a few bugs I need ID on. Also, on the bugs let me know if they are predatory or parasitic. I have a pond I am thinking about putting them in just for the fish to eat. But before I do that I need to know if they are safe. The pond has Flagfish, pond and ramshorn snails, clams, tadpoles, and the unidentified fish in the video. And if you look closely in the fish video you will see what I believe to be a dragonfly larvae. I already put this in the pond thinking my flagfish would eat it. Thanks

Yeah 2 of the bugs are beetles. There is also that big white worm, and some other bug. Also if you look close you can see some red worm. I think this is a bloodworm, but not positive. What kind of stuff do the beetles eat?

Well I found out one of the bugs is a mayfly larvae. And One of the beetles is called a water boatman. The other is a type of diving beetle. Booth are predatory and I probably won't add them. Also in the fish vid it's a damselfly larvae not a dragonfly larvae. I kinda wish I didn't put it in the pond, but there is only one and hopefully my bigger fish eat it. Now only the worms remain unidentified.

The fish are some kind of fry . A little small to id.

Alright I will let them growout and then try again later on the fish. Hopefully they get bigger and survive. But if you had to guess what do you think they might be?

well the worm looking thing i cant ID. the 'dragon fly larvae' may be a damsel fly (not sure).

the other two are a waterboatman and a whirligig beetle...not a diving beetle
