Went Pike fishing today

Hi guy's

I went pike fishing today with my dad we went a bit later than i had hoped to, but i caught one non the less.

i got out at 12.00 stayed until 4.00pm when it got dark.

i set up 2 rods one was a float rig and the other was a leger rig i was using smelt and mackeral dead baits.

any way it was a short time out and resulted in one catch a small Jack Pike ( Jack pike been the small males ) i caught it on my float set up with a whole smelt.

Don’t I know it Summer cant get here quick enough then we can get some proper Carping in . I think we will have a good turn up at next years MFK fishing do. well me you and Dixion
