Went to a lfs for the first time in almost a year.

i wanted to buy a golden jag (there such thing?), a red terror which had a VERY nice very red color, and some type of cichlid i dont know what it was but i think it was a parrot cichlid, the true parrot cichlid, anyone got a pic so i can confirm???

i might go back in afew days and make my first aquasitions in a year :D

i would have got them but i had no cash in my pocket at the moment and i was with my mom (tank is at my dads)

they also had a nice sized rope fish for $11 :drool:

the guy was an idiot though, like he was a know it all type store keeper, saying ive seen it all ive been keeping fish for 15 years, and he was like "ive been donig this since you where in diapers kid"

hehe then explain why there are 3 large pacus cowering inthe corner of a 60 gal tank :D
 
It's been almost a year! OMG, how do you stand it! Even though my LFS sucks, I still go in at least once a month for a "fish fix".

Sorry you had no cash on hand, I know how that is. Look at this way, you probably saved yourself an impulse buy, LOL! And as far as tanks, heck with it, put it in a rubbermaid until you can get it home.

yep i make a 15 mile bike ride once a week to hit the "Fishing Grounds". dont want to miss it when thos young african arrows come in He.He.He:naughty:
 
If I had time, I would get a part time job at a lfs.
 
I usually go to the Lfs on the weekends....
