went to wahiwah reservoir to get needlefish...

couldn't catch anything... i only fished by the ramp and had one hook/floater with bread balls. then had a spoon lure to try and catch needlefish.

i stayed by the ramp since i don't have a boat..

i didn't catch jack today . not even tilapia... wheres all the fish??? and i didn't even see any needlefish but somebody told me theres choke...

what am i doing wrong?? i was there from 3pm to 6...

Go right of the ramp along the shore. There's a cove behind the tall trees. I've seen a few needle nose and turtle. Right next to the ramp in the shallows you should find pbass and red devils. Gotta use shrimp. Mornings are better.

the only fish i wanna catch is the needle fish (or the other illegal ones. lol who wouldn't wanna find that on the end of their hook?)

is there an easier way than a hook though?? didnt they make like a speargun that unfolds to a net or something?

My bad, didnt catch that. I would try smelt, shrimp, etc. but this time of year is hard I would bet you have a better time catching them in a month or two.

it kinda pisses me off.. lol i saw the needlefish munching on a pizza crust that some lady threw in from the cliff and when i hiked down there none of them would show at all.
