Went try-out fishin @ Ottawa...

1st day fishing!

Our original plan was just to go test our local (montreal) dams..
but halfway decided to go all the way to ottawa on a 1hr and 30 minutes drive...
and bOy was it wOrth it!!!!!!!

we (me, my dad and uncle) caught a dozen or more big freshwater drumfish aka sheepshead and couple of cats and carps.
Man what a fun day!!! not bad for a 3 and a half hour of fishing and 3 hours driving! couldve stayed more but we still have to go to work! (sucks!!)

btw i landed the biggest and catch the most than the 2 oldies haha!!!

this dinner we will be frying some! we gave some to our friends..

p.s. I dont really like the taste of fish!!! but i tasted the sheepshead right off the grill
and mannnnnn!!!!!! IT IS GOOD!!!!!

haha! i dont know, but they tasted good! mind u i dont like eating fish.maybe it depends where they are located.
why do u say theyre nasty anyway ? people here from montreal drive hours to get these fish lol crazy

guess you havent had drum? drum is the other white meat. anyway nice catch. what did yall use for bait? down here in the gulf we catch them during the spring and the smaller sizes are the delicious ones. the big brutes arent allowed to be kept, so i donno how those would taste.
