I don't understand people. The Falcons were applauded for playing to the end yet Saints are looked down on because they didn't roll over and play dead.

They way I look at a game is that both teams should play from start to finish. Not quit just cause they are winning.

I even remember a few years ago when Vikings ran it up against the Cowboys... sure it hurt, but I wouldn't want it any other way.

I think that some people are mad that they didn't switch to just running the ball rather than continuing on with passing the ball. The way I see it, I think that the decision to keep passing made sense because it allowed Brees to break Marino's single season passing record and still have a game left in which to set the bar even higher. The Saints' coach even admitted that he would have switched to the run in any other game if one of his players wasn't going for a record.

The whole point of the game is to score and win. I'd be more pissed if someone went into coasting mode on me than kept playing.

Losers always cry! There's nothing you can do about it...

I agree play from start to finish. It's the defence's job to stop the offence if they can't do it too bad.

As a lifelong hardcore Saints fan, I am very biased. I went through a lot of suffering for years, and I am fine with every touchdown they score! The Falcons are more upset because they thought they are on the same level as the Saints and had the doors blown off. So they are sore over the reality they have some work to do.
