Right now yes and also if those other fish won't eat it first. Then as it grows you might start seeing fish with big chuck out of meat or with crush skull.

You can only get away with a JDM style setup with a blind unpredictable fish.

Earl you keep African lungs right? Have you had any problems with it killing your polys?

Yeh he keeps african lungs. He used to have dead polys from his african lungs if im not wrong, but it all stopped. It stopped because Earl has a JDM setup ;) like estimation of 100 bichirs and 8-10 lungfish. I think Earl lost count :D:ROFL:

Guys what JDM SETUP?
JDM setup is a japanese style of keeping fish, where you pack alot of fish together to lessen the aggression. ;)

to the OP - inadvisable combo for sure...it's a recipe for disaster with the fishes you have now. WAL (and other Africans) attack randomly and unpredictably; the jardini will also be a problem in terms of aggression.

if you want to add a lungfish to your setup go with a SAL or AUL --
--solomon

thanks solomon... i would get aul but they are so expensive, and i dont really like the look of adult SAL. lol

i would hold out and save for an AUL. not worth the sleepless nights imo

Mike at H20 custom aquatics has australian lungs for 600 dollars. A steal for sure. I was going to buy one from him until I found a private seller from Jersey which saved me 75 dollars and no shipping due to a meet up. ($525 firm)

But Mike's got great fish. If you want a lung, I'd say talk to him about an AUL.
