West Coast Shows

i hear about the East Coast having fish shows and auctions and and all that good stuff but i never hear anything happening in the North West. Why is that? I was wondering if there are any shows that happen on the west coast and if not some of the experts on here that live on the west coast should get together and orginize a tropical fish show just like they have the sportsman show in Washington.
