I bought soaked driftwood from a fish store. Should i let it dry before putting it in my tank? Kinda worried about diseases

Or is it safe to add it in?

Boil it or dry it out. Or at the very least turn your tap water to full hot and rinse it very well. Is it worth dealing with diseases?

What ever floats your boat, I would have boiled it if possible it would defeat the purpose of buying it wet if you were to dry it out to kill any bacteria.

I just bought pieces from lfs that were in his store show tanks to help seed my tank

You can also let it soak in a strong salt water solution, or a chlorine solution, (make sure you rinse it ver well with dechlorinated water before adding to tank), that will kill most nasties and snails, clean it with a pressure cleaner.
