wet / dry filter in indiana

i just bought a 300g fish tank and the wet/dry filter come with it, but i have no idea how to used. so give me a price how much u think it worth or what to have to exchange for it. thank you.

Looks like a tidepool setup. they basically work just like a HOB filter with a biowheel.

Should be easy to setup. Give me a shout if you decide to keep it. I'll walk you through it.
