anyone have advise or photos of diy wet dry.i will be filtering a 600 gallon tank.should i be thinking 10 time turnover rate on something that large?I'm turning my 65 gallon 12 times but larger water volume more stable water conditions right? any advise would be great.thanks in advance.......

look in the tank and equipment gallery

5 times an hour should be plenty. How much room do you have under your stand for a wet-dry filter. For a tank that size I would recomend using at least a 29-30 gallon sump tank.

Turnovers depend on bio-load, 5x is good for smaller fish; depending on the type of Monster fish 10x and up may be required and larger pre-filter and sump needed.

yes you are in the right place

i wold go for two pumps... mag drive 24 (2400gph)... they are really powerful pumps..your turn around would depend on how factors like, elbow pvc, ball valve, check valve, and more... basically you will have some headloss. i would go for the biggest you can on a DIY wet/dry.. overkill filters are great.. i have a 180 gal.. my filter is for a 400-440 gal tank.. just two word.. no problem!:D
