What wet/dry filters would be best for a 125g or a 135g tank seen them but I've never delt with these kinds of filters before any and all inforamtion would be great please include models and where to get them my lps doesen't seem to know much about them?

What part of OH are you from?? if you are close to dayton Ornatapinnis may be able to help you....he knows filters from what i've read on here....

Or you could make your own, they are pretty basic. Just search for DIY wet/dry and im sure something will come up.

Welcome to MFK by the way

First you have to get a wet dry sump rated for the tank. Some tanks come with built in overflows. You have to find out how many gallons of water the overflow is rated for then you have to get a pump that's rated for the same gph as the overflow. If your tank doesn't have a built in overflow you're going to have to buy one. Most of them are rated at 600gph.
