Well there is a place near me that does custom aquariums and wet/dry filters. I am thinking about getting a wet/dry from them I just sent them an e-mail for a price because they say they stock W/D's for 150 and 200's so it shouldnt be to expensive, the unit for the 150gal measures 28"x10-3/4"x25"

here is a sample pic from their website:

I was thinking about running 5 gals of Bioballs for my 150, and I will be running it with my FX5 instead of my emp 400's. I was just wondering would it be worth running mechanical media in it or just run the bio balls? I really rather just keep the space for heaters and possibly a small place to grow out baby fish a little.... lol :screwy:

As long as you're using other filtration to handle the mechanical portion then I don't see any reason to run more than a small pre-filter in the W/D. You'll need at least that to keep the bio balls from clogging. Go with as many as you can fit in the chamber.

With duel 1" lines what do you think its GPH would be?

what are your overflows rated for¿?¿ also I would throw a pad over the bioballs... might as well keep the sump somewhat clean....
