I got idea and i need some pros to tell me if its good or not enough. Well idea is, i got 10gall tank, i was thinking to make w/d from it. WOuld it be big enough ?
Btw my main tank is 55gall, I have cascade canister filter on it but was thinking about wet dry DIY , although i know w/d are loud is there way i can make it quieter?
every bit of help appreciated
cheers WS

A 10g wet / dry should be sufficient for a 55g tank. Although I'd leave the canister on there as well. A 20g long would work better though, more room to work with.

My wet dry is only loud where the water drains into the sump and hits the drip tray. I've reduced the distance between the spout and drip tray but it's still fairly loud. Although I'm moving a LOT of water so I imagine that's the cause. I'm using dual 1.25" Durso Standpipes and a 2400gph pump if that give you any indication.
