Can some one give me an ideal as to how big the wet/dry bio holding tank needs to be for a 800 to 1000 gallon aquarium. The tank that the water drip into when it flow out the tank..

check into a 275g tote, they are for sale around here cheap (200) and can get ones that held like food and would work well if you can hide a 4ft cube

A good rule of thumb is 1/3 the size.

Okay, got it, thanks all!

Yeah I always thought the guideline was 1/4, but I would aim more towards 1/3 anyway. You can't hurt anything by having a bigger W/D.

Anyone know of a vendor who sells wet/dry in large sizes that ship?
