Wet/dry overflowing?

If I use my 55 on my 265 reef ready as a sump wet dry and I lose power
it will drain down the main tank till it gets below all intakes correct?
Will this over flow my 55 and how can this be prevented?

keep the intake and outlet from the wet/dry as high as possible, I have a 35g wet/dry on my 150 (just tested today) and after power loss it only fills the 35g up to 2/3 full.

if your return is low, drill a hole right below the water level so when the water drops the hole will break the siphon.
