I just purchased an Aqueon Proflex Model 3 sump and i have it all set up, but i have no idea how to start it... theres no water in the tank yet because i didn't buy one of the pieces by accident for my new tank. Tomorrow i'll have water in the tank but how do i start the flow of water from the drain pump to the sump?

The tank has built in overflows, or are you using an aftermarket overflow box?

If you are using an aftermarket overflow, fill both sides of the "box" up with water.........Then fill the tank up to the level of the box..........The water will drain into the overflow "box" and a siphon will be automatically made.............
