Hello all, I am in the process of building a sump refugium tank for my 90 gallon freshwater. I've done a bunch of reading and looked at a lot of different set ups and have seen different ways to set them up. My question is does it matter where I place the filtration media (such as bio balls) in relation to the actual refugium part of the tank? My original idea has water flowing from the main tank through filter floss and bio balls (maybe some other filter media, not 100% yet) in the first baffle. Then flowing through sponge in a 2nd baffle which would overflow into the refugium which would then flow in the the sump area pumping water back into the main tank. I figured it didn't really matter but I thought I'd pick some brains and learn some more stuff

Thanks!
