Thanks. I was just wondering what the difference was. Cause it was confusing me that people were saying wet/dry and some just say sump

What's the difference between wet/dry and sumps? Can i use either on an undrilled tank?

A wet dry is a type of sump with baffles and a driptray that trickles water over the media which isn't submerged, and although sump is a general term it usually refers to a one chamber filter without baffles or a drip tray with submerged media.

You can also use commercial overflow boxes like these to send water to the sump.

the one below hangs on the outside of the tank, and has piping to the sump.

another type below (CPR brand)

Thanks! I was just looking at youtube videos for that one and I think I'll just buy something like that. I have a 135g that I wanna do this overflow on. Whats a good pump to use? I have some pumps at home that I never use. I just got them for free and idk their gph output. Also, what size tank is good for a sump? I was thinking 40? or would a 55 be better? I might get a good deal on a 60gallon so I was thinking of using that. My only problem is that idk how I'll fit the tank in my stand. I'll take photos of my stand when I get home and I'll post them here so you guys can see.
