so I guess i'll ask the question directly. This summer, I plan on switching my two AC 110's for either a wet/dry or an eheim. it's a 125 gal. planted tank with the fish in my sig. the wet/dry i saw at my lfs was cheaper, but as far as quality goes, I know eheim is the best. any suggestions?

i have an xp3 by fluval and it works great... only one draw back is that when their are small snails or whatever it get sucks in it kinda have this sound (which means you need to clean it). don't have any experience with eheim (hear that they are the best). got some really nice comments on my question too with regards to the wet/dry filter... my next tank would be a 180 gal measuring 72x24x24 inches(wanted a 240 gal measuring 96x24x24 inches but the price is just too much... $300 more for only 60 gallons more of water and two feet long... might just get another 60 gal for only $158...lets get back on the topic... got carried away :D ) and i'll get a 300 or 400 gal capacity wet/dry for it... as our fellow MFK members advised me... bigger the better... which i agree and believe in. :headbang2
