Wet Light...

Just dropped my flour. strip light in my turtle tank. I was doing a WC and went to replace to top and the light rolled in. Is was on and still on.
Should I just leave it running or turn it off?
I am worried that if I turn it off to dry it out it won't come back on. I am working from home today so I can leave it run and watch it all day....

I think I would let it dry out without power.

It will not hurt to turn it off. Worst case is that the ends of the bulb will need to be gone over with a wire brush to get buildup off (with power off).

10 - 4. It has been on for a couple of hours and no smoke or buzzing noises. I think I will turn it off just to be safe...
