So the title says it all, it doesn't have to be a single fish, but if it is it's ok, I was looking into a fahaka, frontosa, fire mouths all kinds but I do not like flower horns as I don't like the hump but love colors, I was even thinking a convict tank but don't want to deal with all the fry, if I did a breeding pair of a nice fish that would be ok

Tank size is 48x23 5/8
50 gallon sump

Couple gulpers ( I just got mine a while ago and they swim up like sharks to get shrimp from my hand)

Acara tank

Iv always wanted a big school of amazon puffers

Exodons

Female flowerhorns I believe have less of a hump

Lung fish

Like gulper catfish ? Was thinking of doing a smaller puffer too like gsp, I'll look into the others as well

I believe gsp need full saltwater when fully matured.. not 100% sure so don't quote me ; )

Honestly if u want the most fun wet pet a flowerhorn will give you the most attention and be most active

Yea I heard flower horns would be number one on wet pet and they get pretty big to fill the tank. And yes a gsp from what I read does need marine as they mature

You seem like ur really into fahakas so that's what you should go with :)

The fahaka get's well over 12" in length so the tank might be to small. Hairy puffers - Tetraodon baileyi is a great puffer and will get about 5". A Severum would also be a great pet. I hear Chocolate cichlids are very personable and owner interactive.

Spotted congo puffer maybe? Rare and kinda expensive but iv heard they are fairly peaceful and you don't need to trim their teeth
