huh? hm.... i thought maybe black beard algae but its kinda gray. any clue how to get rid of it?

I thought about that actually, but i have no where to put my fish still need to set up 2nd tank. most likely if it comes to that i'll dump them in my empty 29 gal. but i HOPE it doesn't. hmmm i have no clue what to do.

does it get any natural light? If so just eliminate that and it will get eaten away by your guppies

No natural light at all. I have that side of the tank blocked off w/ thick black fabric, I'll try to see if my guppies will eat it tho doesn't look like something you'd want to eat x_x

looks like algae! get some Japaneses moss balls and that should control it... it competes for the same nutrients as the algae and is pretty sweet looking

the most disgusting things to us, like algae, are tasty treats for some fish

ive got a tank that gets some natural light and therefore algae and the feeder guppies love it and breed like mad!
