What’s wrong w/ my Ciclid?

So I have an electric blue ciclid and he has always been a healthy fish but I came to look at him this morning and now he has this damage on a few of his scale, I’m not really sure what it is, if anyone knows please let me know

Well he has a little cave he could have scraped it on, and he is a very aggressive eater

Yes other than the abrasion he looks very healthy.

Ammonia, nitrate and nitrites are all in check
