hi guys, and girls....ive been a member 4 a few months now but never posted, just gitn alot of info and input n what not. but now i have a question. i was at a used equipment sale and came across a 65 with a crack from bottom 2 top...for 7 bucs...i had a beardie before n always wanted another 1 and thot this wuld b perfect....what do u guys think?

what are the dimensions of the tank. it should be fine though. even if it wont last for life it will work for a while.

also try using the spell check button:D. it make it a little easier to read what you write. and you will prob get a little more help. just a thought

A beardie should work great, at least for a while. They are great lizards. I'd wanted one since I was in middle school and finally got one at the end of this last summer. For now he's still in a tank, but I'll be building him an enclosure over this coming summer.

First put lots of silicone in the base;) That would be fine for a leo too

i was thinkin of putting a backround on the inside. is ther something i can use to make it a lil sturdier or safer....like somethin to rub over the crack? and i dont know about leos i really want a bearded dragon

Run a bead of aquarium-safe silicone over the crack to help stabilize it. There are several different ways to make backgrounds, just depending on how much work you want to put in and how complicated you want it to be.

A bearded dragon would be a nice choice. Also consider the similar but smaller Rankin's dragon (Pogona brevis). Your tank is an excellent size for a trio of these guys.
