seriously.... i cant think of a worse one.

2 weeks ago live rock shifted in my roommates 90 gallon salt water tank for some reason God only knows, cracked the back panel out overnight, and i woke up to an empty tank and about $600 in dead fish, my livingroom and basement destroyed, and roughly $3k of our band equipment (p.a.'s amps etc) destroyed. obviously i put a call into the insurance company and they compensated me. not the end of the world.

it gets better.

i got out of work early today, went to the beach with my gf, got home and opened the back door to my 225 gallon blowing its water out like a freaking fire hydrant. luckily it had just started, so we were able to divert most of the water out the door and not to anywhere it would cause damage.

my aros (black and silver, both around 14") are safe..... i guess i should say tenatively safe... theyre temporarily housed in my 135g with my 8" jardini. needless to say jar is not a happy camper. my LFS has offered to house my black and silver if need be... and im out a monster tank. its hard to say if the tank can be repaired, it busted at the seam. both of these tanks had been set up for roughly 2 years.

so my 135g stock jumped from a jardini and common pleco to jar, black and silver aro, 8" poly ornate, 7" endli, 6" widebar dat, and my 5" royal pleco.

im still in shock, at a loss for what to do...

:(

That sucks man, I'm sorry to hear that. Have you any idea why your tank started gushing water?

Any updates for us Mars?

Sorry about your luck, we all seem to have these back luck streaks in this hobby.

Your tank may be able to be fixed easily, if it was just a seam separation all you have to do is reseal the tank. Put in some extra bracing so this doesn't happen again and you are good to go!
