Well, girlfriend went to work and I had the day off, so I decided to make my fishroom.
Took out all the old computers and rearranged the furniture. 3/5 of my tanks were already in here. Went out and got a table for my bearded dragon and cornsnake, put them in the corner. Put my bird ontop of my tv stand, and decided to bring in my 20gal by myself. The 55 (in another room) will have to wait another day because that piece is heavy.
When I moved the 20gal, it was about 1/4th full. I plugged the heater back in and went upstairs to fill my bucket. Wasn't thinking obviously, came back downstairs and I heard a fizzle-fizzle-POP. My 20gal started to smoke!!!! I ran over to it, pulled out the plug to the heater and threw it outside. I had to post on here a bit ago to make sure I wasn't going to die, and ended up calling an electricion friend to make sure.
Pulled the glass out, ran to my LFS, and picked up a new jager heater (replacing all my ACs bit by bit...) While there I picked up a AC110 for my 100gal and tried to look for my 2ft high backdrop, but they didn't have any in stock
.
Got home, set it all up, and all my fish are fine. Did my cleaning (well, everything but my 55 gal, I got too tired and my back started to hurt so I gave up after my planted tank.)
