what a way to break in the new boat

just got a 1982 wellcraft, since it only had a 4 cyl engine it in, still pushes 170HP. sure beats my other two boats with an 8cyl and twin 6's

water was NASTY as could be yesterday, good 20mph steady wind, with gusts 25-30MPH. still managed some nice fish with 4-5' sea's.

these were the two biggest fish, we had an additional 7 medium bluefish. great first day on the new boat

both the striper and blue measured around 33"




and yes, thats my ugly self.

im not fortunate enough to be able to go out to the end of the island to fish. on good days around here, we can get out 2 bass limit, and easily play non-stop catch and release for hours.

id still rather fish montauk tho. such wonderful stories of the fishing there
