what about heaters in sumps?

what do y'all do for heaters in acrylic tanks and sumps and other sumps that could suffer damage from a heater?

i have a heater in my sump for the last two years with no problems, its a good place to hide the heater.

as long as it stays under water it's not a problem

great place to hide them but I keep 1 in the tank just to be on the safe side... plus most heaters have suction cups or some other spacer that keeps them off of the surface directly...

mine are in the sump when the tanks have sumps..
