Cool lookin pike. If you take your pics at a downward angle, it should help eliminate the flash reflection.

yeah, its nice, introduced himself by snatching my last serpae after 2 minutes in the tank.. uhm about that, Its from my cellphone so you'll have to forgive the quality.. I will try the downward angle thing..

It could be Frenata, if it was it would be a female as the males don't have the gold around the bar that stretches to the eye. It looks more spangled down the body than frenata though.

Its possible it might be a menezesi...possibly guyana....can you get any better pictures? With no flash?

Also, do you know the collection area?

Did I mention how much I dislike IDing Saxatilis pikes...lol....

I'm guessing menezesi or guyana. I really REALLY wanted a menezesi for a while, and they seem to be awesome pikes, and all the sax. pikes are pretty cool. Goodluck with him and i hope you fall in love with him and pick up a couple more tanks and pikes lol.

thanks all of you, a freind has got a friend who sold him this and a xingu1 that is pushing 11" now, and these guys are quite knowledgable people.. they don't know what it is.. therefore I thought you guys would know what it is.. better pic coming up in 10 minutes..
