Came home today to find this white fungus looking thing everywhere in the tank except on the fahaka. Its literally everywhere. When I left Friday the tank was perfect. No ammonia or nitrites, nitrates 25 mg/l. Do 40% water change weekly on the tank (120 gallon tank). I skipped this weeks water change, but its the first one skipped in months and I found a ~ 2 day old shrimp under a piece of wood the the puffer could not get to. Any ideas?

some kind of fungus i'd try to getrid of it not sure the best way to do so

Looks like fungused fish eggs to me. Unfertilised eggs will do that!

the center does not really look like an egg. If the picture was better you could see that the centers are cottony too. The whole tank is covered in them as well, not just that rock.
