What Am I? - ID Needed

I've had this fish for over a year now. It is growing very, very slowly. It reminds me of a Labeo but is much less aggressive than the "shark" species that you see people keeping. Bought it for five dollars to rescue it from Red-Tail Sharks beating on it at the LFS. They had it labeled as "Green Shark." It has small barbels that aren't too visible in the photos. Any ideas? Pictures aren't great, sorry.

The bigger it gets, the more golden and carpish it starts looking...

Those pictures are a little old. It's about four inches now at the most.
