this is suppose to be a Amphilophus labiatus aka true red devil but hes 4.5-5 solid inches and i dont see him turning red. rapps may have messed up on this one. that would be a first. let me know what ya think

Looks like a labiatus to me. Give it some time, i'm sure it'll color up.

You do know 90% of the devils in Lake Nicaragua are that normal coloration, right? The red is just a color morph. It could still change red as well, just give it time.

FYI my RD is a Rapps RD as well. Yours will most likely change like mine once it grows a lil more
